FAQ’s

Based in Auckland, Loren Honey holds in person one on one, group events and corporate wellness breathwork.
  • Breathwork is an active meditation technique that helps you access deeper states of clarity, healing and release. By consciously working with your breath, we open up emotional pathways and help regulate the nervous system. Many clients say it's like 10 therapy sessions in one — but without having to “explain” everything first.

  • Somatic healing is body-based therapy that helps release stress, trauma, and emotional blockages stored in your nervous system. Instead of just talking about your problems, we work through them — using breath, sensation, movement and presence. It’s especially powerful for women dealing with anxiety, burnout, or feeling disconnected from their bodies.

  • Yes — because we go beyond the mind. You might know your patterns, but still feel stuck. Somatic work helps you actually feel safe enough to shift those patterns at the root — in your body, breath and nervous system. It’s deep, sacred, and practical all at once.

  • I'm based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand. In-person 1:1 breathwork sessions are held in Auckland (Titirangi area). All coaching is available online via Zoom, and I work with clients across New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Europe and beyond. Group events are held in Auckland and occasionally around Aotearoa and Australia.

  • Yes. You don’t need to be into crystals, chakras, or astrology to benefit from this work. All you need is a body and a willingness to feel. This is grounded, embodied healing — not spiritual bypass or fluff.

  • If your body is whispering “yes”, but your mind is doubting or overthinking — that’s usually the sign. You don’t need to be “healed enough” or “ready enough.” This work helps you get there. You’re allowed to show up messy, emotional, unsure — and still belong.

  • Afterpay is available for my in person events. Yes, payment plans are available for most offers. Refunds are not offered once the container begins, because this work requires commitment. If you have concerns, let’s chat before you book — I’ll always be real with you.

  • Results vary, but here’s what I hear often: “I finally feel like I’m back in my body.” Less overthinking. Clearer boundaries. More self-trust. Regulated emotions. And a deeper sense of power that doesn’t come from hustling — but from being anchored in your own energy.

  • As a proud Māori woman, I hold this work with deep reverence and integrity. I honour the sacred, the science, and the sovereignty of each person. I’ve trained in trauma-informed care, breathwork facilitation, and somatic practices — and I’m always learning. You’ll never be pushed, rushed, or shamed here. Full stop.

  • Meditation is generally about stillness and observation - watching your thoughts without engaging them. Breathwork is active. You're using intentional breathing patterns to shift your state, access stored emotions, and regulate your nervous system. Many people who struggle to "quieten their mind" in meditation find breathwork much more accessible - because you give your body something to do.
