What are your personal values?

I love this question! My main two values are Freedom and Integrity. Freedom to me means being able to make sovereign choices and create my life in the way I desire to and in a way that doesn’t infringe upon or cause harm to others. Integrity to me means I do things to the best of my ability, within my scope of practice and ability, knowing when to support myself or others seek out help that I’m not able to provide and the way I live behind the scenes - not just when others are watching. It’s walking my talk and doing what I can to leave the world in a better way than I found it hopefully.

As a small business owner who is also Indigenous its important to me that we all rise up together - I don’t believe wealth should only be in the hands of the 1%.

I’m passionate about doing what I can to support charities and social justice causes. In 2019 I took part in the Lifewise ‘Great Sleepout’ to raise money and awareness for the huge homelessness situation in Aotearoa. I’m vocal about supporting land back, Indigenous rights, pro choice for abortions and more.

Tell me about your pricing?

I price my various offerings and events at a price I feel comfortable with considering my years of experience, trainings and personal lived experiences.

Some offerings will be lower cost and others will be higher cost. I have payment plans available which will either be displayed or can be setup on request. Payments plans will be structured in a way that full payment will generally be completed by the end of our time working together and not extended longer, partly to respect and look out for myself as a small business owner.

I do not offer refunds however if a coaching client’s personal situation changes or it’s not working out then I will release them from our coaching agreement and the associated commitments.

I offer a ‘heart ticket’ to my events for those who truely cant afford it otherwise and can offer partial scholarships for my other offerings by request and approval by myself.

Before I started doing the work I do now, I have 7 years experience in event management including starting my own event management business during the Global Financial Crisis - starting a biz during a recession was a huge challenge and I learnt so much by diving in head first and figuring it out as we went. We worked on large-scale festivals including Rhythm and Vines, Raggamuffin, Live At The Islands, Devonport Food and Wine as well as weddings, corporate events and brand activations. I was stoked when we landed Grabaseat (subsidary of Air NZ) as a client in our first three months before we had launched our website or social media.

Currently doing a trauma awareness training called Cultivate through Katie Kurtz
